1. How can a Professional Organizer help me?

A Professional Organizer is an unbiased observer that can look at your situation and offer you solutions. They can be the voice of reason when you just can't decide what to keep or a guiding hand when you don't know where to start.
2. How long will it take to get me organized?

This depends on how much stuff there is and what it is. Try to remember how long it took you to get this way, so it is not going to be set right in a couple of hours. The important thing is to go at a speed that works well for you.
3. Where will all my stuff go?

We try our best to find homes for as much stuff as we can. There are many charities, women's shelters and non profit societies that need all the donations they can find. If items are worthy of selling there are consignment stores for them to be given to.
4. What if I want to do it myself?

Hurst Class Organizing offers consultations that will get you started. They are two hours packed full of ideas, suggestions and tips to make it easy for you to get going.
5. What are the actual steps to getting organized?

The first step is for us to come and assess the situation. We can't tell what needs to be done without looking at it first. After that it is best to purge, sort and then set up.
6. Is it painful?

We try to make it as painless as possible. We know it can be difficult to give up treasured items and so we lend an ear to listen and ideas for making the decision easier.
7. Why can't I do this myself?

Everyone has their strengths. You are probably very good at something else but need help in the organizing area.
